I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, and am a follower of Christ, educator, leader, brother, son, friend, and speaker. I have a deep passion for educating college students on current trends and issues in today's society. Additionally, I have a desire to see all of God's people transformed through the Bible, and fellow Christians help bridge the gap with non-believers by spreading the love of the Gospel. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Family Science and Human Development where I plan to focus on Marital & Family quality and stability, social determinants of health, and resilience.  When I am not working or reading, you can find me running on the streets of NJ training for marathons and dining in any area that serves food.
